My dishwasher started acting funny a month ago so I called and reported the problem. They checked it out and left me a note that they would order a new one and install it when it arrived. Ok so I had to wait a month and wash dishes by hand during that time. No biggie in my book because they identified the problem and ordered and installed a new one at no extra cost to me.
I was so excited I left a Thank You note this morning.
There are advantages to living in a rental, like telling your landlord or super there is a problem and letting them deal with it (assuming, and it is a big assumption, that you have a responsive and responsible landlord!). Like when the boiler goes out, you just call someone up and tell them instead of having to go around calling plumbers or whoever services boilers. When you own, you are your own super!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new dishwasher and saying goodbye to dishpan hands.
I had a really great dishwasher until she got deported last week.
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the new dishwasher!
ReplyDeleteOne semester in college the house that I lived in didn't have a dishwasher. I didn't notice until after I had moved in. It was a rude awakening!
Jeremy:I tried to get Mini Red to be more helpful with the dishes but I had to constantly re-do them. haha
ReplyDeleteLugi:Awww I'm so sorry but a machine is less expensive.
Elvis: Yeah the turnaround time is bad but they got better with the A/C problems this year and that is more important.
JC: I'm grateful to have the dishwasher. My last place didn't have one.
Not really. I was only paying her 50 cents a day.
