Sleeping with the fishes??? We'll be sleeping with the sharks!!!

I have schedule Mini Red and I for an immersion tour: Sleepover With The Sharks at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. How cool is that?

I had mentioned it to Mini Red and told her they also have a Wild Extremes Sleepover in the New Exhibit Animal Plant Australia: Wild Extremes. She said she would prefer to sleep with the sharks. So today I called and expected them to tell me they were booked but they weren't. WAHOO!

I haven't told her yet and not sure when I will. She called me when her Dad picked her up and I didn't want to tell her then because I want to experience her excitement. I have been so overwhelmed with excitement that when I left the office to pick up my lunch I had a huge grin on my face and I was nearly dancing.

I can't wait to receive the information packet so we can get ready. I may not tell Mini Red until we are on our way. We'll see if I can contain myself and keep it a secret.

    Wow. You're braver than me! Sharks scare me! I looked at the link, and that bit about walking over the catwalk while sharks swim beneath ya - yikes!!

    Uh did you read the bit in fine print about the breakfast being served is you?!! Just kidding I am sure it will be a fab experience and wish I could be there to see Mini Red's reaction when you tell her. Don't you just hate keeping secrets like this?

    Extreme sleepovers - well I guess we've had so many different extreme sports that sleepovers were the next logical step!

    I have never heard of Sleeping With the Sharks, but how cool is THAT? I just read the page...I'd definitely do that! And $80 sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

    Tish: I'm curious to check out the catwalk but they are all behind glass otherwise.
    Jeremy:She will probably find out tomorrow if not sometime this week because I need to find sleeping bags somewhere.
    Taunted: I don't think it that kind of extreme. It's not like we're sleeping in the tank.
    Dawn:This isn't far from you and they are scheduling more times to do this.
    Lugi:It'll be sleeping with the stingrays too! The stingray tanks are in the observation area too.
