Ohh, ohh, ohh... check out this new concept car!

Check out this new concept car from Ford called THE REFLEX. It is absolutely beautiful integrating more technology than any car out there.

It has reverse butterfly doors and it's a three-seater, how unusual. It was going to be just a two-seater but then they thought of the young married couples starting a family. The back seat is designed to accomidate the different stages of a baby growing up or to seat a third adult. It even has a baby cam!

The tires are concave for a thinner tire and aerodynamic. The seats are a mesh almost like hammocks and air bags deploy out of the seat belts. They used exposed circuitry on the outside of the car as well as solar energy. It's a diesel hybrid engine that gets 65 mpg.

Click on the photo to take you to the site to investigate it more.

TOO COOL!

  1. Have you discovered a time machine or perhaps that ford concept car has a flux capacitor in it because your post says it was posted on Monday November 13 and here on the east coast it is still November 12? Enquiring minds want to know.

Bobby: I don't think they've gotten that far to figure out colors. I kinda like the gray with blue accents.

  6. The door thing is all the rage with concept cars, have you seen the Aero X concept:

Biopower instead of diesel, but same concept...and of course it is a Saab so it is waayyyy cooler than a Ford :) (I might be biased though, I am on my third Saab).
