Just a regular evening at home with The Reds

Somehow the TV ended up on the show The Power of 10 with Drew Carey.

The questions are great and some are very thought provoking.

Some of the questions:

What percentage of American women wear a thong on a regular basis? 12%

What percentage of Americans have left work for some “afternoon delight”? 25%

What percentage of Americans believe they have found their soul mate? 62%

I'm suprised at these percentages.

Next week one of the questions is:

What percentage of Americans would admit they are a homosapien? Or something to that effect. I turned that question to Mini Red and she had no idea what a homosapien is. I suggested she google it.

She came back and said she still didn’t know what it was so I went to the computer and googled it and clicked on wikipedia and that just gave you two choices: Homosapien or Human. When I clicked on Human Mini Red threw her arms up blocking the screen and screamed, “OH! It’s a PENIS! Jeeze Mom!” I nearly fell over laughing.

What puts you in near hysterics laughing?

Watching Gene Simmons Family Jewels episode "Fact or Fiction".


They're in Vegas for a wedding and Gene is hanging with Carrot Top who is making props for his show. He's making jail bars out of vibrators for what he calls "Paris Hilton in Jail". He walks away to grab something and Gene picks up the vibrator not realizing there is epoxy glue on it.


He is able to pry his fingers off but the palm of his hand is stuck. He starts shaking his hand and it looks like he is trying to jerk off.


I'm laughing so loud I'm sure I'm disturbing my neighbors.


Gene gets back to his hotel and calls for a nurse who gave a little chuckle but then got serious. She said she had seen vibrators stuck before but never like this.

Before Grey's Anatomy

I had once read somewhere that Kate Walsh, who plays Dr. Addison Montgomery, was in "Under the Tuscan Sun". This is such a great movie and was on cable tonight but I missed the beginning. So I went searching to confirm Kate Walsh's character.

I found it and then it hit me. Kate Walsh played Sandra Oh's life partner. I just found it a bit odd to see them playing a gay couple so long before they both ended up in Grey's Anatomy.

Finally Finally Finally Sanjaya is gone!

I haven't even been watching all season and wasn't even interested. It seemed so foolish this season but I turned it on tonight.

The Deadliest Catch, Season 3

Last night was the premier of the third season of The Deadliest Catch on The Discovery Channel, Tuesday's at 9pm. If you haven't watched this then you gotta start.

Mike Row, from Dirty Jobs, narrates as these men do one of the deadliest but most lucrative jobs in the world. Remember the movie “The Perfect Storm”? Well it goes a little something like that but in the Bering Sea. It’s absolutely fascinating.



If you missed last night’s first show of the season then it looks like they are playing it again on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10pm.

You can't help but get into it.

The damn show is making me cry

This is a tough Grey's Anatomy. They know how to bring on the tension and make us cry.
