An article in the LA Times states J.K Rowling “had always imagined one of the main characters in the "Harry Potter" series -- Albus Dumbledore -- to be gay.”

WTF?!?!

Does his sexual orientation really matter? It sounds to me like the LA Times was in need of something to fill space on their pages and latched onto something Rowling might have said in passing. They go into great detail pulling out all the clues in the series confirming that Rowling wrote Dumbledore with his homosexuality in mind.

They interviewed the Head of the Harry Potter Alliance. I can’t believe such an organization exists. This head guy, Andrew Slack, point out seven clues that indicate Dumbledore’s sexual orientation. I find them a bit far fetched but I think my favorite is when they said, “Albus Dumbledore" is an anagram of "Male bods rule, bud!"

Well that’s a bit of a reach wouldn’t you say?

Are you a single, lonely woman that is tired of sleeping alone?

It’s the newest thing… The Boyfriend Pillow.
This morning The Kane Show was talking about this boyfriend pillow for the lonely, single women. Not yet available in the US except maybe by mail order.

In a quick review I found this article and this article on this new, patent-pending, aide for the single woman.

On the show this morning they were saying the arm is detachable and can be heated up in the microwave. I didn’t see anything in those articles about that but I can think of a different version of the boyfriend pillow that has a detachable part that is not an arm. Now that’s one I would consider buying.

I guess you caught me turning around a couple of times and we made eye contact. I tried catching up to you but the crowd didn't let me.

I recently bought a new dress. I don’t have many skirts but I really don’t have any dresses because they don’t work well on me due to my heavier top half.

I tried on at least 10 dresses last Saturday and was really happy when I found one. It’s white with black flowers all over it. I’m a little uncomfortable and self conscious since this is not my usual, but I’m digging it.

I stepped out of work to run an errand and felt some stares. That’s when it hit me... My dress might be a bit see-through in the sun. Oh Shit! Nothing I could do at that point so I quickly finished my errand, raised my head high and got back to the office pronto.

Once back I informed Trish of my concern of this see-through dress. We looked around to see if there was any place the sun was shining through but unless I climbed on top of the desk and stood at the window we were out of luck. So Trish grabbed the lamp off her desk. The problem is it wouldn’t reach the floor so I held it upside down behind me. Trish moved to the other side of the room to see if the light shined through.

Looks like I was worried over nothing and the dress doesn’t appear to be see-through. We plan to get outside later and check it out for real.

Thank goodness for girlfriends, eh?

I think The Undertaker is in town

Today, Mini Red and I (along with the rest of DC) decided it was a good day for the Zoo. It was the type of weather where you keep taking your sweatshirt on and off. The shade was real cool but the sun felt good and the indoors were real warm.

We went into the small Mammal house and when we came out I got Mini Red an icee thingy. We moved to the side so I could put my sweatshirt back on and this big entourage of scary looking people goes walking by. They were lead by this HUGE dude who was being very loud.

This evening I’m doing a little searching to find out who this guy might be. He kinda looked like some wrestler. I found that the WWE Smackdown is coming to Baltimore and looks like it was just in Virginia. I found a pic of The Undertaker guy and Mini Red and I think this was the dude we saw at the Zoo today. This is when she tells me he was carrying a stuffed prairie dog under his arm. Evidently, he looked right at her and said "I CARRY MY PRAIRIE DOG WITH PRIDE!" I don’t know how I missed that since I was standing right next to her. Maybe I was pulling the sweatshirt over my head at that moment.

Did anyone else see this guy?

Snow last weekend, Sun and Water this weekend.

This past weekend the Reds were traveling again. This time we were off to Connecticut for a baby shower for SIL. I would say the best part was I didn’t have to drive but the place we stayed was probably my favorite part.

We stayed at the Madison Beach Hotel on Long Island Sound. This place is beautiful with its old time charm. It was a great family bonding time since the whole fam damily was there not to mention the long trip and our close quarters on the drive.

I couldn't get enough of walking around the grounds and along the water but I think Mini Red enjoyed it more. Sunday morning the water was so calm and Mini Red explored and found some beautiful shells.

We made great time on Sunday and arrived home around 2:30. Mini Red and I then headed into town for a book festival. We bumped into some friends and they joined us in our quest for ice cream. We got to the ice cream shop in the nick of time because they were running out of ice cream and closing up.

The best part was the girl scooping was beat and raised her arm to wipe her brow and exposed her hairy armpit. I have to wonder if there are hairnets for the hairy armpits. Shouldn’t they be required? I certainly lost my appetite for the ice cream and decided to have bottled water instead.

The head is growing pubes

I haven't been in my office for a few days and been on site. When I got back I noticed the head has some serious hair (grass) growth and all my plants were seriously lacking in water. I must get on my co-workers for having my back on this for the future.


I promptly started watering the plants and took the head to the sink to fill ups it’s little glass jar. This is when I noticed it. The head is growing pubes.

One of my co-workers suggested it might be chin hairs but looks more pube like to me.

Then came the question: Is the head a boy or a girl?

Well it has earrings and green pearl earrings at that so I would assume it was a girl. On the other hand the hair is like a green Don King style and the rope that hangs from the head to soak up the water could be penis like in nature. I still can’t help but think of it as a girl.

I guess she needs a name since she is already going through puberty. Let me know if you have any ideas for names.

Have you ever come across something that just stops you in your tracks?

You’re just amazed that someone would even think of such a thing. Your jaw hit the ground and you can’t stop watching as if it was a train wreck. At the same time you can’t help but laugh, which you definitely wouldn’t do at a train wreck.
